Be Green

It isn’t easy being green in politics. There is definitely a “way” to run a campaign, which involves driving around, cluttering up the community with lawn signs, sending out direct mail pieces, and a whole lot of hot air.

We believe there are creative ways to run a campaign that don’t have such a heavy “footprint” on the environment.  For example, we only made one sign, a big one, and we are moving  it around every couple of days.  This way we get exposure without making hundreds of signs.  And it is a whole lot less visual clutter also.

Also, our website is hosted by hostgator.com, which is uses wind power credits so that they have a negative net footprint.  There are simple and creative ways to support the environment.
